Happy Winter!

Hello all! Thought I would touch base with everyone. I know it's been awhile. Things here are going okay. Just dealing with the normal kid "thing" being sick that is. Yeah, just the normal ear infections and all that jazz. Glendon and I have been pretty healthy, knock on wood. Relatively Gavin has too. Just dealing with a cold for the first time this season. Not to bad.

He is growing like a weed. Learning all new vocabulary, which has been a lot of fun. He can say bubbles, Coco (our lab), milk, trash ( which he like putting everything in the trash), bath, socks, shoes and a whole lot more that probably Glendon and I can only distinguish.

He will be 1 1/2 this March. Crazy! He weighs in at about 28lbs. Yes.....he likes his food. :)

I had to put this video in here. I know Gavin will hate me some day, but I though it was funny. He is trying to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider. He doesn't get to far with it, but you can kind of tell he is trying to do the motions. Anyway.....enjoy!

I know I'm 2 days late. Better late than never. Thought I would share some photos of Gavin and myself on Halloween day. I am dressed as a tacky tourist, love my hair? And Gavin was our little devil. He had a wonderful time, believe it or not by the photo above. Wasn't to terribly bothered by the outfit. Only problem was it was at least 60 degrees out that night. So we actually had the air conditioner on in the car. Crazy! It was a beautiful though.

WE ARE 1!!!!!

Can't believe it, but Gavin finally turned one last week. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. Hopefully the pictures will explain it all.

We had a one year doctor check up. Gavin is at 25lbs 12oz and 28 3/4" long. No wonder I have strong arms! He is happier than ever. We have started milk and have had no problems. No longer taking it through the bottle using the ol sippy cup. And he seems to eat about anything that we eat. So far I do not have a picky eater! Yeah!

He is crawling like crazy, not walking yet, but is really thinking hard about it. Has 7 teeth and is working on the 8th. That we know he has advanced on. He is my take it easy kind of guy. Perfectly fine with me.

Well....here we are in the dog days of summer. Ohh... how I remember about a year ago tomorrow. I was officially put on bedrest. How I don't miss that at all.

Gavin is now 10 months old. CRAZY! He is growing like a weed. Summer has been really fun so far. He has really enjoyed the pool, especially his cousin's pool, Josie and Marie's. I'm glad that he is not afraid of water. He is a little tadpole.

Thought I would send out a video of him just learning on how to crawl. Finally did it this Saturday. He has been practicing for over a month, now. We never knew when he was going to do it. We are so happy. I think!

Hello!

Well, Gavin is now 9 months old. Wow how time flies! He now has 4 teeth and they all came in at the same time. He did well with coping with them coming in. Thank goodness!

We have been battling ear infections and drainage, so we have been doing breathing treatments once a day. The doctor's seem to think that he will have asthma or does have asthma. Go figure. He hasn't been that bad, but when he gets a cold, it goes straight to his chest....just like his mom. Oh well. I'm hoping that the ear infections and drainage will all disappear when the teeth finally get done coming through. Cross my fingers. He has been very good though....not fussy one bit. We are very lucky!

Glendon and I are doing well. Just busy as ever. Seems like there isn't enough time to do much anymore. It's been nice to be outside though....I'm enjoying gardening, really didn't get to last year. Just got to watch everything from a window. :)
